A weekend well spent.

I first visited Washington, D.C. in 2016, and this summer, I had the opportunity to go back for a quick weekend trip. I absolutely love the history of this city and the aging architecture of the buildings. There is so much stability that is reflected in these monuments which are surrounded by a culture of change and hope.

After touring the usual sights, we went over to the Jefferson Memorial to watch the sun set. I had a job interview that next morning, so this was the absolute perfect way to spend the rest of the day: watching nature and cityscape merge in a wonderful display of color.
